The Jameos del Agua is located inside the volcanic tunnel created by the eruption of Corona Vulcano. It is a series of three cavities: the Jameo Grande, Jameo Chico and the Jameo de la Cazuela. Impressive is the underground auditorium characterized by an excellent acoustics. The center was the first most significant tourist creation of Cesar Manrique in the island of Lanzarote. Those who visit the Jameos del Agua can not but be impressed by his vision and his ability to “beautify nature”, with deep respect and balance.
